  • App performance data

This data is anonymous — it contains no personal information, no account details, and no way to identify you. We use this solely to improve app stability.

We do not collect:

How the App Works

Peace and Quiet is a simple white noise app that:

  • Plays audio files stored locally on your device
  • Stores your sound preferences on your device only
  • Requires no internet connection to function
  • Makes no network requests during normal operation

Network Requests

Peace and Quiet works entirely offline during normal operation. All sounds are bundled with the app and play locally — no internet required.

The only network activity occurs when sending anonymous crash reports if the app encounters an error.

Third-Party Services

Peace and Quiet uses the following services for crash reporting and diagnostics only:

  • Apple Diagnostics — Apple’s built-in crash reporting for iOS apps
  • Datadog — Crash reporting and error monitoring service

These services receive only anonymous diagnostic data to help us fix bugs. We do not use any advertising, behavioral analytics, or user tracking services.

Data Storage

  • All preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage
  • No data is synced to any cloud service
  • No data leaves your device

Children’s Privacy

Peace and Quiet does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no account system, no social features, and no data collection of any kind.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the App or on our website with a new “Last updated” date. Since we don’t collect any data, changes are typically clarifications rather than material changes to our practices.
